October 2008

October 24-25: Black Belt Tests
The Family Karate Center will be holding its semi-annual Black Belt Tests on these days.

October 29-30: Belt Test
The Family Karate Center will be holding Belt Testings on these two days. Please sign up at the front desk and make sure you get your stripes!

October 30: Karate Demonstrations
The Family Karate Center will will performing two karate demonstrations at the Compassion International Health Fair on this day. Speak with Kyoshi if you would like to participate!

October 31: CLOSED (Halloween)
The Family Karate Center will not be holding normal classes on these days in observance of Halloween.

November 2008

November 8-9: Midori Yama Budokai Seminars - Huntsville, AL!
Kyoshi Haynes will be teaching at the MYB Elite Training Clinics in Huntville, AL on these dates. The point of contact for this event is Kyoshi Jay Alexander. His website is Alexander's Martial Arts.

November 15: Inter-Club Karate Tournament
The Family Karate Center will hosting an Inter-Club Karate Tournament on this day.

November 17-26: Picture Days!
The Family Karate Center will taking pictures on these days in November!

November 22: Brown Belt Kata Seminar - Sushi No Kun Sho!
Kyoshi Haynes will be teaching the Brown Belt Kata of the Month, Sushi No Kun Sho, on Saturday, November 22 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. All Brown and Black Belts are encouraged to attend. Under Brown Belts may also attend with special permission from Kyoshi Haynes. The cost of this seminar is only $20 for the first family member, $15 for the second, $10 for the third, and $5 for the fourth. Please sign up at the front desk!

November 27-29: No Classes
The Family Karate Center not be having classes on these days in observance of Thanksgiving and also the After-Thanksgiving Day SALE.

November 28-29: The World Famous After Thanksgiving Day SALE!!!
The Family Karate Center not be having classes, but will host the After-Thanksgiving Day SALE!

December 2008

December 13: Invitational Karate Tournament
The Family Karate Center will hosting an Invitational Karate Tournament on this day.

December 17-18: Belt Test
The Family Karate Center will be holding Belt Testings on these two days. Please sign up at the front desk and make sure you get your stripes!

December 24-25: CLOSED (Christmas)
The Family Karate Center not be having classes on these days in observance of Christmas.

December 31 - January 1, 2009: CLOSED (New Years)
The Family Karate Center not be having classes on these days in observance of New Years.
